Après un long voyage, la « Casa Murza » est le point de chute idéal depuis lequel vous pourrez découvrir les diverses facettes de l’ouest Corse. A partir de Vico, village ayant toujours conservé une forte identité, vous bénéficierez de sensations contrastées entre le bord de mer, de Sagone à Porto, et les montagnes du haut canton ou de la vallée du Niolu. L’incroyable beauté du patrimoine naturel préservé comblera les amoureux de nature authentique. Les baignades en mer ou en rivière, les randonnées de tous niveaux dans cette région des Deux Sorru, une des plus sauvages de l’île, vous laisseront un souvenir durable!
La « Casa Murza » est labellisée en 2009 par « Gîtes de France », relais « Eco-Gîte » du tourisme responsable. Sans renoncer au confort, la maison vous offre accueil et sensibilisation à une démarche globale éco- citoyenne. Celle-ci respecte les engagements du nouveau label HQE :
-intégration de la maison dans le site
-utilisation de matériaux locaux et sains
-maitrise de la consommation (eau et énergie fossile) et utilisation des énergies renouvelables
-gestion des déchets
-espace paysagé avec des espèces endogènes.
Cadre et Prestations:
La « Casa Murza », nichée en haut d’une colline qui surplombe Vico à 500 m d’altitude est ventilée par la brise de mer en été et l’ensoleillement en arrière saison y est généreux. Baignée de lumière grâce à ses ouvertures sur un jardin s’inspirant du maquis environnant, la maison vous offre une atmosphère confortable et une décoration de caractère. Seuls le son d’un outil taillant le bois pourraient s’échapper de l’atelier de Bernard, artisan luthier car même en pleine saison la sérénité du lieu reste intacte. Si ça « hume bon » côté cuisine, c’est Michel qui mitonne les bons plats pour les gourmands, les belles assiettes fraîcheur pour les appétits plus attentifs ! Fromages et charcuteries sont élaborés par des producteurs du canton. Les légumes sont cultivés par Bernard dans un jardin communal. Pain, brioches, yaourts, pâtes fraîches, gâteaux et confitures sont confectionnés à partir de produits biologiques par Michel.
Selon la saison, vous pourrez dîner sous la tonnelle dans la tranquillité des châtaigniers dominant la vallée ou devant la grande baie vitrée de la salle à manger, près d'un bon feu, pour les soirées plus fraîches.
Choisir sa chambre :
A l’étage (escalier intérieur) :
-La chambre de 20 m², équipée d’un lit double, avec sa terrasse face au soleil couchant possède une salle d’eau avec douche et des W.C indépendants. Nuit petit déjeuner inclus : 85 € pour deux.
-La suite spacieuse de 35 m² au soleil levant est composée d’ une chambre (avec un lit double et un lit d’une personne), d’un salon privatif (avec convertible double). Salle de bains avec douche et baignoire et W.C indépendants. Nuit petit déjeuner inclus : 105 € pour deux. Personne supplémentaire 30 €.

Swimming either in the Mediterranean or in some secluded spot by the river Liamone, hiking trails of all levels as well as some curiosities from out the beaten path will make your stay feel long lasting! The “Casa Murza” was Eco-labeled in 2009 by “Gîtes de France”, as part of responsible tourism housing. The home offers a welcoming and yet comfortable environment in which public awareness to global civism in ecology can take place. It meets some of the standards of High environmental Quality:

-use of local and sound materials
-control of consumption (water and fossil energy) and use of renewables

-grounds landscaped with endemic species
Surroundings and services:
The “Casa Murza” is located on top of a hill above the village of Vico, altitude 500 m and is ventilated by sea breeze in summer and bathed in generous sunshine in all seasons. From its bay windows overlooking the garden naturally blending itself in the surrounding “maquis”, the house offers a bright and comfortable atmosphere with harmonious interior design. The only sound that may escape will be from the workshop of Bernard, violin-maker: a tool cutting wood! Even at the peak of the season you’ll be wrapped in a peaceful atmosphere. If you happen to catch some flavorful fumes from the kitchen, it will be Michel preparing your flavorful dinner for the gourmet or sumptuous salad plates for the diet watcher! Cheese and charcuterie are provided by local producers. Vegetables are home-grown by Bernard. Bread, brioche, yogurt, fresh pasta, pastry and jams are also made by Michel with organic produce. According to season, you’ll enjoy your meals on the patio surrounded by chestnut trees overlooking the valley or by the large bay window of the dining room, next to a warm woodstove on cooler evenings.
